The Marine Vessel is an elongation of the Aortic Vessel, more similar to its original iteration, elevated on a foot similar in feel to that of the Bridge Handled Vessel. It is inspired by the curved oval forms of Japanese paper lanterns and mid-century lighting, but its boat-like belly is reminiscent of the sea. It can be used as both a vessel and a candelabra for thicker-based candles.
Materials: Cast white stoneware, matte warm white glaze with slight crackle to surface. Smooth to touch.

The permanent collection is a seasonless line of ceramic vases that was created by Simone Bodmer-Turner in 2018. The forms draw on both ancient ceremonial and utilitarian vessels and the modern shapes that came out of midcentury architecture and design.
